Declaration on personal data protection
Administrators of these websites treat the protection of your private data with due care and diligence. Your personal data is kept and processed in a manner which safeguards their confidential nature and complies with any and all legal regulations on personal data protection and with the following declaration.
Generally, you can use our website without having to provide any personal data. If any personal data (such as your name, address or email addresses) is collected on our sites, it is done, to the extent possible, based on your voluntary decision. Any information collected will not be disclosed to any third party without your express consent.
However, we would like to note that sending your data online (for example, as part of your email correspondence) may not be fully gap-free when it comes to security. It is not possible to ensure complete personal data protection against any access of third parties.
Newsletter / Custom Publishing
Please note that in order to offer services and content at the highest level, your preferences are tracked while you read our newsletter. Mailing of the newsletter is carried out by a specialised third-party provider, who was carefully selected by us and is regularly verified as to whether they meet our expectations.
Tracking pixels are used to verify the attractiveness of our content. These are micrographics with 1×1 pixel dimension which are embedded on each page of our newsletter and are loaded while your read. They are linked to your e-mail address and receive a unique identifier. This unique identifier is also present in the links and QR codes in our newsletter. The data collected in this way is used to create a user profile that allows us to customise the content of the next newsletter to your preferences. This data is also linked with the data collected when you visit our website.
You may disable this functionality using a hyperlink that is provided in each newsletter or through another form of contact of your choice. The data collected in this way is retained by us for the term of your newsletter subscription. Once you unsubscribe from our newsletter your data will become anonymous and will only be stored statistically. Tracking is not active, when displaying graphics is disabled in your e-mail software. However, in this case, it is possible that some features of the newsletter will not be available. When displaying graphics is enabled in your email software, the said tracking functionality will be activated.
